How to Build a Full-Size Loft Bed

Here are the steps on how to build a full-size loft bed:

1. Gather your materials.

4x4 lumber for the posts
2x6 lumber for the frame
1x4 lumber for the slats
Screws
Nails

2. Cut the lumber to size.

Cut the 4x4 lumber into four posts. The posts should be the height of the loft bed plus the height of the mattress.
Cut the 2x6 lumber into two side rails and two end rails. The side rails should be the length of the loft bed, and the end rails should be the width of the loft bed.
Cut the 1x4 lumber into slats. The slats should be the length of the loft bed minus the width of the side rails.
