* Crib * 4x4 posts (2) * 2x4 boards (2) * 1x4 boards (4) * Plywood (1 sheet) * Mattress * Box spring (optional) * Screws * Nails * Glue * Wood filler * Sandpaper * Paint or stain (optional)

* Saw * Drill * Screwdriver * Hammer * Measuring tape * Level * Clamps

Instructions:

Remove the crib mattress and any other bedding.

Cut the 1x4 boards to the length of the bed.

Space the 1x4 slats evenly across the side rails.

Cut a piece of plywood to the size of the bed.

This will form the platform of the bed. 10.

Attach the plywood platform to the side rails.

Use screws or nails to secure the platform. 11.

Fill any holes or gaps in the wood with wood filler.

Sand the bed to smooth out any rough edges.

Paint or stain the bed to your desired finish.

Reassemble the bed and add the mattress.
