How To Build A King Size Bed

If you're looking to build a king-size bed, there are a few things you'll need to do to make sure that the project is a success. First, you'll need to gather your materials. You'll need:

8 pieces of 2x4 lumber, each 8 feet long
12 pieces of 1x4 lumber, each 8 feet long
16 pieces of 1x6 lumber, each 8 feet long
1 sheet of 3/4-inch plywood, 4 feet wide by 8 feet long
1 gallon of wood glue
1 box of 2-inch wood screws
1 box of 1-1/4-inch wood screws
A hammer or nail gun
A drill
A saw
A level
A measuring tape

Once you have all of your materials, you can begin building the bed. First, you'll need to assemble the frame. To do this, you'll need to cut the 2x4 lumber into the following pieces:

2 pieces 8 feet long
2 pieces 7 feet long
4 pieces 3 feet long

Once you have cut the pieces, you can begin assembling the frame. Start by attaching the two 8-foot pieces to the two 7-foot pieces, using wood glue and 2-inch wood screws. Then, attach the four 3-foot pieces to the inside of the frame, using wood glue and 1-1/4-inch wood screws.

Next, you'll need to assemble the slats. To do this, you'll need to cut the 1x4 lumber into the following pieces:

12 pieces 7 feet long
4 pieces 3 feet long

Once you have cut the pieces, you can begin assembling the slats. Start by attaching the 12 7-foot pieces to the inside of the frame, using wood glue and 1-1/4-inch wood screws. Then, attach the four 3-foot pieces to the center of the frame, using wood glue and 1-1/4-inch wood screws.

Finally, you'll need to attach the plywood to the top of the frame. To do this, you'll need to cut the plywood to the following dimensions:
