How To Build A Loft Bed Queen Size

Instructions

Start by cutting the 2x4 lumber to the following lengths:

4 pieces at 8 feet long

4 pieces at 6 feet long

4 pieces at 4 feet long

2 pieces at 3 feet long

Next, assemble the frame of the loft bed. Start by attaching the 8-foot pieces to the 6-foot pieces using screws. Then, attach the 4-foot pieces to the 6-foot pieces using screws. Finally, attach the 3-foot pieces to the 4-foot pieces using screws.

Once the frame is assembled, it's time to attach the plywood deck. Cut the plywood to the following dimensions: 6 feet by 8 feet. Then, attach the plywood to the frame using screws.

Next, it's time to build the ladder. Cut the 2x4 lumber to the following lengths:

2 pieces at 6 feet long

4 pieces at 2 feet long

Assemble the ladder by attaching the 6-foot pieces to the 2-foot pieces using screws. Then, attach the ladder to the loft bed frame using screws.

Finally, it's time to add the mattress and box spring (if desired). Place the mattress on the plywood deck and then add the box spring on top of the mattress.
